3 Reasons Why Solana Price Could Surge to $100

SOLANA IMAGE OF PRICE ANALYSIS

Solana price is showing signs of recovery after gaining more than 6% over the past week. SOL is now trading above $76 as several bullish technical signals emerge on the daily chart.

The improving setup has raised hopes of a stronger recovery toward $100. However, Solana must first break above the key $78 resistance level before the bullish outlook can gain strength.

Solana Price Faces Key $78 Resistance

According to analyst Ali Martinez, Solana is trading within a parallel channel, with $78 acting as an important level. A sustained move above the middle of the channel could send SOL toward its upper boundary near $100.

The $78.70 area is also important because it sits close to the channel’s resistance trendline. A decisive break above this level could confirm that buyers are gaining control.

For now, traders are likely to watch how SOL behaves around the $78-$78.70 range. A rejection could keep Solana trading inside the channel, while a successful breakout could open the way toward $100.

TD Sequential and MACD Support Bullish Outlook

Solana is also receiving support from two other technical indicators.

The TD Sequential has produced a buy signal on SOL’s daily chart. This setup can signal a potential one-to-four-candle recovery or the beginning of a new bullish countdown.

Meanwhile, the MACD has formed a golden cross. The signal occurs when the MACD line moves above its signal line and can point to improving buying conditions.

The combination of the parallel channel, TD Sequential buy signal and MACD golden cross gives Solana a more constructive technical setup. Still, SOL needs to clear resistance before the bullish scenario can be confirmed.

Solana Network Activity Remains Strong

Solana’s recent network activity also provides a positive backdrop for the price outlook.

The blockchain processed a record 1.01 billion non-vote transactions in a single week. Tokenized equities also recorded around $1.45 billion in volume during July, giving Solana about 82% of the global market share.

Institutional and real-world applications have also continued to expand on the network.

BlackRock recently brought BRSRV, a money market fund designed to support stablecoin reserves, to Solana. Western Union also launched Stablecard, a digital wallet and Visa-backed credit card that uses USDPT, a US dollar-backed stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank on Solana.

Take-Two Interactive has also brought tokenized TTWO shares to the network through Backpack Securities. Each token is backed 1:1 by the underlying stock.

Can SOL Reach $100?

The $100 level has emerged as the next major target if Solana breaks above its current resistance.

Trader Pepesso previously identified $100 as an important confirmation level for SOL. A successful move above it could put the $150-$200 range into focus.

However, Solana still faces resistance around $78. A clear breakout and sustained move above this level would strengthen the bullish outlook and bring the $100 target closer into view.

If SOL fails to break higher, the price could remain within its current trading range. For now, the $78 resistance remains the key level to watch as Solana attempts to extend its recovery.
