- Litecoin is nearing oversold levels as technical indicators like RSI, Ichimoku Cloud, and EMA suggest growing bearish pressure.
- The $83.11 support level is critical, with a breakdown likely to trigger further losses unless bulls regain control.
Litecoin (LTC) has dropped 5.6% in the last 24 hours, pushing its price dangerously close to a key support level at $83.11. The rapid decline comes amid intensifying bearish signals across technical indicators, raising concerns about further downside unless bulls step in swiftly.
Litecoin RSI Dips Near Oversold Territory
One of the most telling signals is the Relative Strength Index (RSI), which now stands at 35.92, down from 61.4 just a day ago. While not yet in oversold territory, it’s edging dangerously close to the 30 mark—a threshold that often triggers renewed buying interest. However, if the RSI falls further and remains suppressed, it could reflect prolonged bearish control and delay any meaningful recovery.

Ichimoku Cloud Turns Fully Bearish
Adding to the bleak outlook is Litecoin’s Ichimoku Cloud setup, which has turned fully red. Price action remains well below the cloud, and the Tenkan-sen has crossed beneath the Kijun-sen—both classic indicators of bearish strength. With the cloud ahead remaining thick and flat, bulls may find it difficult to reclaim higher territory in the near term.

EMA Structure Supports Downside Risk
Litecoin also faces pressure from its exponential moving average (EMA) structure. Short-term EMAs are positioned below long-term ones, indicating a likely continuation of the downward trend. If the current support at $83.11 fails, LTC may find its next stop around $81.30. However, if bulls manage to regain control and push the price above resistance at $89.31, LTC could retest higher levels near $90.97 and possibly $94.17.

Litecoin’s market cap now hovers near $6.3 billion, and the asset is at a technical crossroads. With bearish indicators stacking up and key support being tested, the coming days will be crucial. A breakdown could open the door to more losses, while a strong defense of $83.11 might offer bulls a shot at a short-term rebound.
