Ondo Finance and the Ondo Foundation have taken a major step in bridging traditional finance with blockchain technology by launching more than 100 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs on Ethereum. The platform, called Ondo Global Markets, is set to expand its offerings rapidly while introducing support for additional blockchains like BNB Chain and Solana.

Ondo Global Markets Expands Access to U.S. Securities
The new platform enables global investors outside the U.S. and U.K. to access tokenized equities around the clock. Currently, the assets are available to qualifying users in Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, and Latin America. Ondo plans to scale its offerings to more than 1,000 tokenized securities by the end of 2025, including some of the most traded stocks on the NYSE and NASDAQ, such as Apple and Tesla.
Unlike many tokenized stock solutions that face liquidity challenges or operate in closed systems, Ondo Global Markets emphasizes transferability. Investors can move tokenized equities across wallets, exchanges, and protocols while maintaining access to traditional exchange liquidity five days a week. This makes the platform a flexible option for those seeking exposure to U.S. securities through blockchain technology.
Ondo Finance Blockchain Support and Partnerships
Ethereum is the first chain to support Ondo’s tokenized securities, with BNB Chain and Solana integration expected soon. Interoperability is powered by LayerZero, ensuring seamless connectivity across blockchains. The project has also partnered with major crypto infrastructure providers, including OKX Wallet, Trust Wallet, Ledger, BitGo, 1inch, and Chainlink.
1inch upgraded its Swap API to provide efficient access to tokenized assets through its ecosystem, while Chainlink serves as the price oracle for reliable market data. This collaboration ensures that liquidity, pricing, and execution remain competitive for users.
Institutional-Grade Liquidity and Future Growth
To further enhance the platform, Ondo is integrating with Block Street, a chain-agnostic liquidity provider. This will allow advanced trading strategies such as borrowing, shorting, and hedging on tokenized equities, bringing institutional-grade tools to decentralized finance (DeFi).
Ondo is not alone in this market. Competitors such as Kraken, Bybit, Gate, Robinhood, and Coinbase are also exploring tokenized equities. However, Ondo’s approach—focusing on accessibility, interoperability, and robust liquidity—positions it as a significant player in the rapidly growing tokenized finance sector.
With McKinsey estimating tokenized financial assets could reach a $2 trillion market cap by 2030, Ondo’s launch highlights a clear shift from experimentation to large-scale adoption in the fusion of traditional and digital finance.
