Shiba Inu (SHIB) Plummets: Is It Time to Rebuy?

  • Shiba Inu’s price has dropped significantly due to massive market liquidations, hitting a key oversold level on the RSI.
  • This could signal a potential rebound, making it an intriguing rebuy opportunity for investors.

Shiba Inu dropped even lower as the cryptocurrency market got hit with an enormous $620 million in liquidations. This massive sell-off has led to an almost 20% drop in SHIB’s value. However, there is one indicator that investors should keep an eye on.

RSI Hits a Yearly Low

Shiba Inu’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) has dropped to 21, a record low for the year. An RSI this low typically indicates that an asset is heavily oversold, hinting at a potential future rebound. Historically, SHIB has shown price recoveries when its RSI hits such low levels, making this an intriguing rebuy signal.

With $620 million in liquidations, the entire cryptocurrency market is experiencing extreme volatility. Numerous assets, including Shiba Inu, have reached multi-month lows. Despite the gloomy outlook, the market’s inherent volatility also suggests the possibility of a swift recovery.

Technical Support Levels

The technical chart shows that SHIB has broken below two important support levels: the 100 EMA and the 200 EMA. The next notable support level is $0.000012, which is critical for SHIB to maintain its structural integrity. If this level fails to hold, further drops might be imminent.

Despite the current bleak situation, the extreme oversold condition of the RSI points to a potential recovery. As always, it’s crucial to monitor RSI levels closely. Given the market’s current state, there may not be significant price drops in the foreseeable future, as the number of buyers in the market is quite limited. Nevertheless, staying cautious is key.

While the market’s extreme volatility is daunting, Shiba Inu’s historically responsive RSI levels provide a glimmer of hope for investors.
