Bitcoin Stages a Breakout After Two Weeks of Decline

Bitcoin (BTC) has finally broken free from its two-week downtrend, sparking hopes of a strong rebound toward the $112,000 level. Data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView shows that BTC/USD closed outside a downward trend line for the first time since August 13, a development that many see as a bullish signal.

The move comes after Bitcoin rebounded from multiweek lows of $107,270, with the relative strength index (RSI) flashing a bullish divergence. These early cues suggest that the worst of the recent correction may be over.

Analysts Watch $112K as the Key Resistance Level

Traders and analysts remain split on Bitcoin’s next move. Popular crypto analyst Rekt Capital highlighted Tuesday’s daily candle as a significant breakout attempt, noting that Bitcoin has successfully pushed past several weeks of downward resistance.

At the time of writing, BTC was trading around $111,000, just shy of the much-discussed $112K resistance zone. According to order book data from CoinGlass, liquidation levels between $112K and $112.4K are building up, making it a crucial battleground for bulls and bears.

Fellow analyst Daan Crypto Trades also emphasized the $114K area as a “major level to watch,” suggesting that surpassing this range could pave the way for further upside momentum.

Bullish Optimism vs. Bearish Caution

Despite the breakout, not everyone is convinced that Bitcoin’s bull market correction is over. The well-known bearish trader Il Capo of Crypto warned followers to “get ready for impact,” hinting at a possible retest of $100K or even lower.

This divide reflects broader market sentiment, where optimism about a trend reversal clashes with fears of another downturn. For Bitcoin, the next few days — especially with upcoming U.S. macroeconomic data releases — may decide whether the breakout holds or fizzles out.

Bitcoin’s breakout above its two-week downtrend has injected new life into the market, but all eyes are now on the $112K–$114K resistance zone. If bulls manage to flip this level into support, the stage could be set for a stronger rally. However, with bearish voices still calling for deeper corrections, traders should stay cautious and watch key resistance levels closely.
