  • Bitcoin spot ETFs recorded a $223 million net outflow on June 30, extending the withdrawal streak to nine consecutive days.
  • BlackRock’s IBIT accounted for most of the outflows, while total ETF assets remained at $70.95 billion.

Bitcoin spot ETFs extended their losing streak on June 30 after investors pulled another $223 million from the funds. The latest figures marked the ninth straight day of net outflows, showing that institutional demand has weakened despite Bitcoin holding above key price levels.

Data from SoSoValue showed that BlackRock and Fidelity recorded the largest withdrawals during the session, while the overall value of assets held by U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs remained close to $71 billion.

BlackRock’s IBIT Records the Largest Daily Outflow

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) posted the biggest withdrawal of the day, with investors pulling $212 million from the fund. Despite the latest outflow, IBIT remains the largest spot Bitcoin ETF by cumulative inflows, which now total $60.254 billion.

Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) followed with a net outflow of $10.196 million. Even after the withdrawal, FBTC has accumulated $10.129 billion in historical net inflows since its launch.

The combined withdrawals pushed total net outflows across all U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs to $223 million for the day.

Nine Straight Days of Withdrawals Raise Market Questions

The latest figures marked the ninth consecutive trading day of net outflows from spot Bitcoin ETFs. The extended streak suggests some institutional investors continue reducing exposure or taking profits after recent market activity.

Although daily outflows do not always translate into immediate price declines, traders often monitor ETF flows because they provide insight into institutional demand. Sustained withdrawals could limit buying pressure if they continue over the coming sessions.

Bitcoin Spot ETFs Still Hold Nearly $71 Billion in Assets

Despite the recent selling, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs continue to manage substantial assets. As of the latest update, the combined net asset value stood at $70.95 billion. That represents approximately 6.02% of Bitcoin’s total market capitalization, highlighting the growing role these investment products play in the market.

Meanwhile, cumulative net inflows across all spot Bitcoin ETFs remain positive at $51.152 billion, showing that long-term investor participation has remained strong despite the recent wave of withdrawals.

Investors Watch ETF Flows Closely

ETF inflows and outflows have become one of the most closely watched indicators for Bitcoin. Strong inflows often signal rising institutional demand, while extended periods of withdrawals can reflect cautious market sentiment.

With nine consecutive days of outflows now recorded, traders will be watching upcoming ETF data to determine whether demand stabilizes or whether institutional investors continue reducing their exposure.
