Cardano Price Analysis: ADA Approaches Top of Parallel Channel,Targets $0.338 and $0.376

CARDANO IMAGE AND SOME COINS IN THE BACKGROUND

Cardano (ADA) has spent weeks moving within a tight range, but recent price action suggests that a decisive move may be approaching. After nearly 45 days of sideways trading, ADA is now testing a crucial resistance level that could shape its next direction.

Cardano (ADA) Price

At the time of writing, ADA is trading near $0.288, showing a modest weekly gain. The price is hovering close to the upper boundary of a parallel channel pattern, a formation that has contained its movement since early February.

A Critical Level That Could Define the Next Move

According to analysis from Ali Martinez, the key level to watch stands at $0.304. This marks the top of the channel and represents a major resistance zone.

A confirmed breakout above this level could signal the end of the prolonged consolidation phase. If that happens, ADA may aim for higher targets around $0.338 and $0.376, based on typical channel breakout projections.

On the other hand, failure to break above the resistance could keep the price locked within its current range. In such a scenario, support levels near $0.277 and $0.243 may come into play.

On-Chain Data Points to Undervaluation

One of the strongest bullish signals comes from on-chain metrics. Data from Santiment shows that ADA’s 365-day MVRV ratio currently sits at -34.69%.

This indicates that many holders are still at a loss, a condition often linked with undervaluation. Historically, similar levels have preceded strong recoveries. A comparable dip below -30% in late 2023 was followed by a notable price rise in early 2024.

However, short-term holders appear to be closer to profitability, with the 30-day MVRV slightly positive. This could introduce some selling pressure as traders look to exit near breakeven.

Mixed Signals from the Derivatives Market

The derivatives market presents a more cautious outlook. Open Interest has climbed to around $520 million, reflecting growing trader participation. At the same time, a higher number of long liquidations has pushed the long-to-short ratio below 1.0, indicating that short positions currently dominate.

From a technical perspective, indicators remain moderately supportive. The RSI is above the midpoint at 58, suggesting steady buying interest without entering overbought territory. Meanwhile, the MACD remains slightly bullish.

For a stronger bullish case to develop, ADA would need to reclaim and hold above the $0.299 level on a daily closing basis.

Outlook Hinges on Breakout Confirmation

With the price nearing a key resistance level, Cardano appears to be at a turning point. A breakout above $0.304 could open the door for further gains, while rejection may extend the consolidation phase.

For now, all eyes remain on whether ADA can break free from its 45-day range and establish a clearer trend.
