DOGECOIN IMAGE AND SOME COINS BEHIND IT

Dogecoin (DOGE) price slipped 8% to $0.1735 on Monday, falling below a key support level of $0.1781. Despite the drop, analysts remain cautiously optimistic, pointing to historical November rallies that could signal a bullish phase for the popular meme coin.

Historical November Patterns Offer Hope

Analyst YazanXBT highlights that November has historically been a strong month for Dogecoin, with notable rallies in 2015, 2017, 2020, and 2022. These rallies typically followed periods of price consolidation, where DOGE’s trading range narrowed before volume surged. Current price action mirrors these setups, with the coin holding between $0.17 and $0.18 after recent declines.

Technical projections indicate that if Dogecoin breaks above the $0.20 mark, mid-$0.20s levels are possible, reflecting patterns from early October when a similar consolidation preceded a brief spike to $0.26. Long-term resistance levels include $1.15 and a potential all-time high of $1.60 if the bullish trend gains momentum.

Market Activity and Wallet Data

Recent declines coincided with reduced activity among “smart money” wallets and long-term holders. On-chain data from Santiment shows that wallets holding over 100 million DOGE have been largely inactive since November 1, indicating that major holders are not currently driving price movements.

Futures data from CoinGlass showed a 2% drop in DOGE open interest over 24 hours to $1.7 billion. Other meme coins experienced similar declines, with SHIB falling 7% and PEPE dropping 8%, reflecting broader supply pressure across the sector.

Current Trading Range and Key Levels

Dogecoin has been trading in a narrow horizontal range between $0.17 and $0.18, a level that has repeatedly absorbed selling pressure. Analyst BitGuru notes that buyers appear ready to defend this key psychological zone, making it a potential launchpad for a rally.

For a meaningful upward move, analysts stress the importance of a bullish bounce around $0.17 and a confirmed daily close above $0.20 accompanied by rising volume. If these conditions hold, DOGE could replicate past November gains, potentially exceeding $0.27 in the short term.

At the time of writing, Dogecoin trades at $0.1735, leaving investors closely watching whether history will repeat with another November breakout.
