Dogecoin Retests Historic Trendline as Analysts Call Possible Bottom With $1.6 Target

DOGECOIN IMAGE AND SOME COINS BEHIND IT

Dogecoin is on a critical technical level that has historically marked major cycle bottoms. According to market analysis, the DOGE has returned to a long-term support trendline that has held since 2021. This level has repeatedly triggered strong reversals in previous market cycles, even during periods of extreme fear and weak sentiment.

Dogecoin Revisits Historic Cycle Bottom Zone

Crypto analyst Cryptollica notes that Dogecoin has touched a key ascending support trendline that has defined major market bottoms since 2021. Each time the price approached this zone, sentiment dropped sharply and selling pressure increased.

Despite the negative conditions, this same area has previously acted as a strong reversal point. It has consistently attracted buyers after deep corrections, setting the stage for major recoveries.

Historical Price Behavior Strengthens the Pattern

The analyst highlighted several past retests of this support trendline. In 2021, Dogecoin dropped near $0.095 before rallying strongly into a major bull run. In 2022, the same structure held near $0.045, leading to another recovery phase.

In 2024, Dogecoin formed a bottom around $0.055 before climbing above $0.225 during a later uptrend. These repeated reactions have strengthened the belief that the trendline remains a key cycle indicator.

More recently, Dogecoin revisited this support in early 2026 near $0.085 and again in the latest market dip. Cryptollica describes this latest retest as a potential “perfect bottom,” pointing to similar fear-driven conditions seen in previous cycles.

Analyst Projects Potential Upside Toward $1.6

Based on the repeating structure, Cryptollica suggests that a broader market reset may already be complete or close to finishing. If the pattern continues, Dogecoin could enter a fresh recovery phase.

The analyst’s long-term projection places a potential upside target near $1.6. This would represent a major expansion phase if historical cycle behavior repeats.

Warning Signs Still Remain in the Market

Not all analysts agree that a bottom is confirmed. Market analyst Erick Crypto points out that Dogecoin recently lost a key support level around $0.085. This breakdown suggests that sellers are still active in the market.

He also noted that rising trading volume indicates strong participation, but not necessarily direction. According to his view, the current move could either be a liquidity sweep before recovery or the start of a deeper correction.

Traders Urged to Wait for Confirmation

Erick Crypto advises caution, saying that Dogecoin has not yet shown a clear reversal signal. He recommends waiting for confirmation before declaring a cycle bottom.

For now, Dogecoin remains at a decisive technical stage. The coming price action will determine whether the long-term support trendline holds once again or gives way to further downside pressure.
