Ethereum Price Prediction: Will $3580 Hold or Trigger a Drop to $3363?

EtheREUM eth Price ANALYSIS IMAGE

Ethereum (ETH) has been one of the best-performing altcoins in recent months, gaining over 85% in the last 90 days and 41% in the past month alone. However, recent price action suggests a potential pause in this uptrend. Currently trading at around $3618, ETH has slipped 1.53% in the past 24 hours and is flirting dangerously with the $3600 mark.

A critical level to watch is the 200-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), currently sitting at $3580. This long-term support level has held up so far, but consistent dips below $3600 are raising concerns among investors.

Ethereum Technical Indicators Signal Uncertainty

Despite ETH trading above the 20-day, 50-day, and 200-day EMAs, the market appears undecided. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) sits at a neutral 51, signaling no strong bullish or bearish bias. The Directional Movement Index (DMI) shows a weak trend, with the ADX at just 20. While the +DI is slightly above the -DI, all trend lines are pointing downward, indicating decreasing strength in both bullish and bearish movements.

This technical standoff suggests a major move is brewing—either a bounce from support or a potential breakdown.

Key Levels to Watch

If Ethereum holds above the $3580 support zone, bulls could regain confidence and push the price back toward $3948. A break above that could open the path to the next resistance level at $4107.

On the flip side, failure to hold the 200-day EMA could lead to the formation of a dreaded “death cross”—when the 20-day EMA crosses below the 200-day EMA. This pattern is often associated with bearish trends and could push ETH toward $3363 or even $2908 if selling pressure intensifies.

Ethereum’s recent strength is undeniable, but the price is now at a pivotal moment. Holding the $3580 level could sustain its bullish trajectory, while a drop below could spell short-term trouble. Investors should monitor price action closely, as the outcome around this support level could determine Ethereum’s next big move.
