- Ethereum price has rebounded above $4,100 despite record $796 million ETF outflows last week.
- Technical consolidation and oversold conditions have fueled buying interest, keeping the medium-term outlook positive.
Ethereum price has reclaimed the $4,100 level even as institutional investors pull a record $796 million from spot ETFs, signaling both resilience and cautious market sentiment.
Ethereum Faces Largest ETF Withdrawals Since Launch
Last week saw nine U.S.-listed Ethereum ETFs post consecutive net outflows totaling $796 million, the highest weekly withdrawal since their inception. Major issuers led the declines, with Fidelity’s FETH seeing $362 million in redemptions and BlackRock’s ETHA losing over $200 million. Smaller contributions came from Grayscale’s Ethereum Trust and 21Shares’ TETH.
This abrupt reversal contrasts sharply with the bullish momentum observed just months ago, when these funds combined for inflows of nearly $5 billion in a single month, briefly outpacing Bitcoin-focused ETFs.

Technical Setup Shows Consolidation
Despite heavy ETF pressure, Ethereum has managed to hold above key levels. At press time, ETH trades around $4,140, up 3.3% over the past 24 hours, rebounding from a dip below $3,900 last week. This recovery has been aided by oversold conditions on the relative strength index (RSI), encouraging retail and institutional buyers to re-enter the market.

ETH’s price now shows consolidation within a $3,800–$4,300 range, with critical support at $3,500 acting as a liquidity zone. Resistance is currently near $4,300, and if buying interest continues, upside targets may extend to $4,500.
Ethereum Outlook Remains Positive
Even with mixed performance from ETFs and temporary market corrections, the medium-term outlook for Ethereum remains favorable. Recent protocol upgrades, along with renewed buying activity, have helped the token maintain momentum despite broader market selling pressure.
Analysts expect Ethereum to continue testing its support and resistance zones over the coming weeks. Should it maintain above $4,100, the rebound may strengthen investor confidence and pave the way for further gains.
Ethereum’s recent price behavior highlights the delicate balance between institutional fund flows and broader market sentiment, showing that even in the face of significant ETF withdrawals, underlying demand and technical factors can drive recovery.
