Hyperliquid Strategies has more than doubled its HYPE treasury as the company expands its exposure to the Hyperliquid ecosystem. The Nasdaq-listed firm held about 29.3 million HYPE tokens by June 30, valued at roughly $1.9 billion.

The company disclosed the figures in its fiscal-year results. Its HYPE holdings had grown from an initial 12.5 million tokens.

Hyperliquid Strategies Builds a Massive HYPE Treasury

With HYPE trading at $65.04 on June 30, Hyperliquid Strategies’ holdings were worth approximately $1.90 billion, while cash and cash-like assets stood at $149.9 million, including $12 million in USDC.

Total assets reached $2.06 billion, while stockholders’ equity stood at $1.87 billion, with no debt reported on the balance sheet. Most of its HYPE holdings were also staked, generating additional treasury income, with staking revenue and validator commissions reaching $9.5 million and interest income adding another $2.7 million during the fiscal year.

Hyperliquid Strategies reported $305.5 million in net income for the year, with unrealized gains of $709.9 million on its HYPE holdings making a major contribution to the result.

$647 Million Equity Facility Supports HYPE Purchases

Since the company’s business combination closed in December 2025, about $773.4 million has been spent on HYPE purchases. Around 16.5 million tokens were acquired at an average price of $46.77.

Much of the funding came through a committed equity facility. It generated $646.6 million at an average issue price of $8.70 per PURR share. Some capital was also used for share repurchases. About $27.8 million was spent buying back 5.8 million PURR shares at an average price of $4.80.

By August 19, cash stood at $132.6 million, including $12 million in USDC. The company continued to report no debt.

Hyperliquid Activity Adds to Treasury Income

The growth in HYPE holdings comes as activity across the Hyperliquid ecosystem continues to expand.

Hyperliquid accounted for about 9.4% of global perpetual futures volume on June 30, including centralized exchanges. By August 23, its share of open interest across decentralized perpetual markets had reached roughly 63%.

Open interest across HIP-3 markets also exceeded $4 billion in August. Total Hyperliquid open interest later reached a record $13 billion.

HYPE has also performed strongly. The token gained about 77% during the quarter ended June 30. It has risen more than 50% over the past month.

Following the fiscal-year results, PURR shares climbed nearly 18% to around $13.59. The move pushed the company’s market capitalization close to $1.8 billion.

With its HYPE treasury approaching 30 million tokens, Hyperliquid Strategies is becoming increasingly tied to the performance and growth of the Hyperliquid network.
