- NEAR has seen a tenfold surge in trading volume, with daily fees topping $400,000.
- Despite the growth, NEAR remains near $1.90 as broader market pressure weighs on its recovery.
NEAR Protocol is seeing rapid growth in network activity, led by its cross-chain trading platform, NEAR Intents. The platform recorded more than $150 million in daily trading volume and over $400,000 in daily fees in November 2025.
Despite the strong protocol growth, NEAR remains near $1.90. The token has stayed within a $1.90 to $3.10 range for most of the year.
NEAR Intents Records Strong Trading Growth
NEAR Intents has become a major driver of activity across the NEAR ecosystem. The platform lets users complete cross-chain transactions without manually handling bridges, gas fees, or multiple transaction steps.
Data from Dune Analytics shows that daily fees climbed above $400,000 in November. Total fees also passed $10 million as daily trading volume remained above $150 million.
The platform’s 30-day trading volume has now exceeded $3 billion. This marks a tenfold increase from the previous quarter.
Bitwise also highlighted the platform’s rapid growth. It recorded $969 million in trading volume during the week beginning November 10, 2025.
The firm expects weekly volume to reach $10 billion by June 2026. That would represent another major increase in activity if the projection materializes.
Privacy Trading Adds to NEAR’s Volume
Privacy-focused trading has also helped drive activity on NEAR Intents. CoinMetrics identified the Zashi wallet as one of the platform’s key volume sources.
Zashi uses NEAR Intents to support multichain swaps into shielded Zcash. This has helped increase demand for transactions involving privacy-focused assets.
Zcash now accounts for around 10% of NEAR Intents’ daily volume. That equals roughly $15 million in transactions each day.
The growth shows how specific use cases can generate significant activity across cross-chain trading platforms.
NEAR Price Remains Under Pressure
Strong network activity has yet to translate into a major NEAR price recovery. NEAR has traded between $1.90 and $3.10 throughout 2025 and remains close to the lower end of that range.
Broader market weakness continues to weigh on the token. Bitcoin’s performance could also play an important role in determining NEAR’s next move.
Analyst Vespamatic warned that NEAR could fall toward $0.60 if Bitcoin drops to $84,000. Such a move would put significant pressure on altcoins across the market.
Still, the $1.90 area remains an important support zone. Strong protocol growth could provide a foundation for recovery if overall market conditions improve.
Can NEAR’s Growth Lift the Token?
NEAR Intents is showing that demand for cross-chain trading continues to grow. Its rising fees and transaction volumes could also strengthen NEAR’s long-term value proposition. However, protocol growth does not always lead to immediate price gains. NEAR will likely need stronger market conditions and sustained adoption before its performance reflects the growth across its ecosystem.
For now, traders are watching whether NEAR can defend $1.90 and eventually break above the $3.10 range ceiling.
