NEAR Protocol’s cross-chain execution system, NEAR Intents, has surpassed $30 billion in cumulative trading volume as activity on the platform continues to grow. NEAR also climbed 78% over the past week, reflecting increased market interest in the network and its cross-chain infrastructure.
NEAR Intents Surpasses $30 Billion in Volume
NEAR Intents has processed about $31.4 billion in cumulative trading volume, marking a major increase in activity for the cross-chain system. On September 18 alone, the platform recorded more than $300 million in trading volume.
Weekly volume ranged between $842 million and $1.04 billion, highlighting the level of activity moving through the system.
NEAR Intents allows users to swap assets across more than 30 blockchain networks without relying on traditional bridges or wrapped assets. Instead, a network of solvers searches for efficient routes to execute trades across different chains.
This approach allows users to access liquidity across multiple networks through a single cross-chain execution layer.
Zcash Transactions Drive Recent Activity
Confidential transactions have contributed to recent increases in NEAR Intents activity, with Zcash playing a notable role.
Transactions involving Zcash through the ZODL wallet have helped push trading volumes higher as users seek greater transaction privacy. The increased activity has also connected NEAR’s cross-chain infrastructure with demand for confidential transactions.
The rise in platform activity comes alongside strong price performance for NEAR, which has gained 78% over the past week amid increased trading activity.
NEAR Token Gains 78% in One Week
NEAR has gained 78% over the past week as activity on NEAR Intents continues to rise. As of September 23, 2026, NEAR was trading at around $4.43, up 3.25% over the previous day.
NEAR Intents has now processed about $31.4 billion in cumulative volume, including more than $300 million in a single day on September 18. The figures highlight the sharp increase in trading activity across NEAR’s cross-chain system.
