Pi Network Crashes to $0.26 – Could It Fall to Zero?

Pi Network, once hailed as a promising project, is facing one of its toughest years yet. After reaching an all-time high of $2.99 in February 2025, the token has collapsed to just $0.26, sparking concerns about whether it could eventually fall to zero.

Why Pi Network Struggling

Despite its massive community, Pi’s path to mainstream adoption has been rocky. The biggest hurdle remains its absence from major exchanges like Binance and Coinbase. Earlier hopes for a listing quickly faded after regulatory and transparency concerns came to light.

Adding to the pressure, Pi has faced large token unlocks that flooded the market with new supply. Without matching demand, this has only pushed the price further down. In August, Pi dropped to $0.33, and by September, it hit a new all-time low of $0.2552, leaving investors rattled.

Market Manipulation Concerns

Trading activity on exchanges such as OKX, Gate.io, and MEXC has also raised eyebrows. Analysts point to unusual patterns in both spot and futures markets, suggesting that whales and market makers may be influencing Pi’s price. With sudden short squeezes and sharp swings, retail investors often find themselves on the losing side of trades.

Such conditions mirror past failures like BitConnect, which once traded above $460 before collapsing to zero. Investors are left questioning whether Pi could share the same fate.

What’s Next for Pi?

Looking ahead, Pi faces a critical crossroads. Forecasts from CoinCodex suggest a potential trading range of $0.18 to $0.72 in 2026, with an average around $0.36. While this gives room for a modest rebound, the risks remain high, particularly if more token unlocks lead to another wave of sell-offs.

For Pi to survive, experts say the project must address its transparency issues, secure listings on top exchanges, and resolve long-standing problems with KYC and withdrawals. Without these improvements, Pi risks drifting closer to zero—a scenario that could devastate its community of holders.

At present, Pi Network stands as a cautionary tale in the volatile world of cryptocurrency. Its future will depend on whether it can rebuild trust, decentralize further, and achieve the accessibility required to compete with more established projects.
