Pi Network Crashes to Record Low as Selling Pressure Spreads Across Crypto Market

PI NETWORK IMAGE

Pi Network continues to face heavy downside pressure after slipping to a fresh record low, as broader crypto weakness and rising exchange inflows weigh on sentiment. The coin outlook remains fragile, with both market conditions and technical indicators pointing to sustained bearish control.

Market-wide risk-off sentiment drags Pi Network lower

Pi Network dropped about 5% on Thursday, briefly touching a record low of $0.1186 before a mild rebound toward $0.1300. The decline comes as the wider crypto market struggles under increasing uncertainty, with Bitcoin also falling below key levels and dragging sentiment across altcoins.

The overall mood in the market has turned defensive, with the Crypto Fear and Greed Index slipping to around 20, signaling extreme fear. In such conditions, speculative assets like Pi Network tend to react more sharply to selling pressure.

Rising exchange inflows signal investor caution

On-chain data shows nearly 1 million PI tokens were deposited into centralized exchanges within 24 hours. This movement often suggests increased selling intent or profit-taking activity, especially during periods of weak market confidence.

These inflows add pressure to an already fragile market structure. With demand slowing and more tokens entering exchanges, sellers continue to dominate short-term price action.

Technical outlook points to continued bearish control

Pi Network remains firmly in a downtrend, trading below key moving averages. The price sits under the 50-day EMA at around $0.1597, the 100-day EMA near $0.1710, and the 200-day EMA close to $0.2178. These levels now act as strong resistance zones.

Momentum indicators also support the bearish view. The MACD remains below the signal line in negative territory, confirming ongoing downside pressure. At the same time, the RSI has dropped to near 25, pushing into oversold conditions. While this suggests the sell-off may be stretched, buyers have yet to regain control.

Key support and resistance levels to watch

Immediate support is located near the recent low of $0.1186, followed by the S2 pivot at $0.1124. A breakdown below this range could open the door toward the psychological level of $0.1000. If selling continues beyond that point, the next downside target is the S3 pivot near $0.0836.

On the upside, recovery attempts may face initial resistance around $0.1525. Stronger barriers remain at the 50-day EMA and 100-day EMA, which must be reclaimed before any meaningful trend reversal can begin.

Pi Network remains under pressure as weak market sentiment, rising exchange inflows, and bearish technical signals continue to align. Until buying strength returns and key resistance levels are reclaimed, the risk of further downside toward $0.10 remains in play.
