Pi Network Price Hits New All-Time Low Despite Pi2Day Updates

IMAGE OF PI NETWORK

Pi Network remains under heavy selling pressure after falling to its lowest price since trading began. Despite several ecosystem updates and new product launches, buyers have stayed on the sidelines, leaving PI near a critical support level.

The recent decline has raised fresh concerns about whether the price could fall even further or if the latest technical signals point to a recovery.

Pi Network Falls to a New All-Time Low

PI has extended its months-long downtrend, dropping more than 96% from its early 2025 peak of around $3. The latest decline pushed the price to just above $0.11, marking a new all-time low.

The sharp fall came shortly after Pi Network celebrated Pi2Day on June 28. The community had hoped the annual event would bring announcements capable of lifting market sentiment. Instead, PI continued to lose value.

At the time of writing, Pi Network’s market capitalization stands at roughly $1.2 billion, placing it among the largest cryptocurrencies by market value, although its ranking has continued to slip as the price weakens.

New Ecosystem Tools Fail to Lift PI

Pi Network introduced several new products during the Pi2Day event, including SoloHost, Pi Sign-in, and PiVerify.

The updates are designed to expand the ecosystem beyond blockchain applications by supporting artificial intelligence, digital identity, and third-party services. The project is also aiming to position itself as a platform for decentralized computing alongside its blockchain infrastructure.

While these developments show continued ecosystem growth, they failed to generate enough buying interest to reverse the ongoing downtrend.

Many community members had expected larger announcements or exchange-related news, which may explain the muted market reaction.

Market Sentiment Remains Divided

The latest price decline has sparked mixed opinions among traders.

Some market participants believe PI could continue falling and even lose another decimal place if selling pressure remains strong. Others argue that the current price area could become an important support level if the broader crypto market begins to recover.

Several analysts have noted that Pi Network’s recent losses largely reflect the weakness seen across the wider cryptocurrency market rather than any major negative event directly linked to the project.

Oversold RSI Offers Hope for Buyers

Although the trend remains bearish, one technical indicator suggests the selling pressure may be reaching exhaustion.

Pi Network’s RSI has fallen to around 14, placing it deep inside oversold territory. In technical analysis, RSI readings below 30 often indicate that an asset has experienced excessive selling and could be approaching a short-term rebound.

An oversold RSI does not guarantee a recovery, but it often attracts traders looking for potential buying opportunities if market conditions improve.

Lower Token Unlocks Could Ease Selling Pressure

Another factor that traders are watching is the upcoming token unlock schedule.

More than 127 million PI tokens are expected to enter circulation over the next 30 days. While that is still a sizeable amount, it is considerably lower than the unlocks seen during previous months.

A slower release of new tokens could reduce additional selling pressure and help the price stabilize if demand begins to improve.

Can Pi Network Recover?

Pi Network remains in a clear downtrend, and buyers have yet to regain control. The failure of recent ecosystem announcements to lift the price shows that traders are still focused on broader market conditions and technical weakness.

However, the combination of an extremely oversold RSI and a smaller token unlock schedule could provide conditions for a short-term recovery if buying interest returns. Until then, PI is likely to remain under pressure as investors watch whether the current support level can hold.
