Pump.fun Revenue Surges Past Hyperliquid as PUMP Volume Rises and Whale Demand Grows

Pump.fun is seeing a sharp increase in trading activity, helping the Solana-based token launchpad close the gap with major crypto protocols. Its revenue has now moved above Hyperliquid over the past 30 days, while large wallet activity is adding another layer to the PUMP story.

Pump.fun Revenue Moves Ahead of Hyperliquid

Pump.fun generated $55.5 million in revenue over the past 30 days, slightly ahead of Hyperliquid’s $54.34 million, according to data cited from DeFiLlama.

The shift comes as activity across Pump.fun’s Solana launchpad continues to grow. The platform generated another $17.54 million in revenue over the past seven days.

Hyperliquid recorded $11.19 million during the same period. That leaves Pump.fun with a sizeable weekly lead.

The difference between the two platforms comes from their business models. Pump.fun earns from token launches and the trading activity that follows. Hyperliquid, meanwhile, generates revenue mainly from perpetual futures trading.

The current gap could widen if activity on Pump.fun remains elevated. A sustained slowdown in memecoin trading, however, could quickly narrow the difference.

Pump.fun Trading Volume Climbs Above $40 Million

The rise in revenue is closely tied to stronger trading volume. Pump.fun’s daily volume has climbed from around $5 million in July to more than $40 million in October. Activity also picked up through August and September, with daily turnover often reaching $30 million to $45 million.

On some days, volume moved above $60 million. Higher trading activity matters because Pump.fun’s revenue depends heavily on users launching and trading tokens on the platform. More transactions create more opportunities for the protocol to generate fees.

The recent volume increase therefore gives the platform a stronger revenue base than it had during the quieter summer period.

Still, the trend depends on continued demand. If trading activity falls sharply, Pump.fun’s revenue could decline just as quickly.

Whale Buying Adds Support for PUMP

Large holders are also becoming more active around PUMP, adding another factor to the recent rise in trading activity.

After about a year of little activity, the wallet known as Netherlol bought 383.34 million PUMP worth roughly $2.4 million. Soon after, another wallet withdrew 189.22 million PUMP, valued at about $1.18 million, from MEXC.

Both transactions moved a large amount of PUMP away from the immediate exchange supply. If these wallets continue to hold their coins, fewer PUMP tokens will be available for trading while demand remains elevated.

That could give buyers more influence if trading activity continues to grow. But the effect could fade if the wallets return their holdings to exchanges, increasing the amount of PUMP available for sale.

PUMP Outlook Depends on Volume and Whale Activity

Pump.fun has two developments working in its favor: stronger trading activity and renewed whale interest. The platform’s 30-day revenue has moved above Hyperliquid, while weekly revenue is also running at a higher level. At the same time, daily trading volume has risen significantly from its July levels.

For PUMP, the key question is whether these trends can continue. If trading volume stays elevated and large holders continue accumulating or holding their tokens, the current setup could provide further support for the token. If volume fades or whales begin sending large amounts of PUMP back to exchanges, that support could weaken.

For now, Pump.fun’s rising revenue and trading activity have put the protocol back in focus as competition among crypto platforms intensifies.
