Uniswap Launches Pools.trade Memecoin Launchpad on Robinhood Chain

Uniswap has expanded its decentralized finance ecosystem with the launch of Pools.trade, a new token launchpad built on Robinhood Chain.

The platform allows users to create, discover, and trade memecoins from a single interface while introducing a different approach to token launches. Unlike many launchpads that rely on temporary liquidity, every successful launch ends with liquidity permanently locked in a Uniswap v4 pool.

The launch also strengthens Uniswap’s role on Robinhood Chain, where it already serves as one of the network’s primary public liquidity protocols.

Pools.trade Introduces Two Ways to Launch Tokens

Pools.trade offers two launch options: Crowd Launch and Instant Launch.

Every new project starts with a fixed supply of one billion tokens. After the launch, Pools.trade transfers liquidity into a permanently locked Uniswap v4 liquidity pool. The platform reinvests trading fees into the locked liquidity, preventing creators from withdrawing the initial funds.

The Crowd Launch model lasts four hours and gradually fills bids through a time-weighted process. A project must reach a $10,000 valuation before trading begins. If the target is not met, participants receive full refunds.

Meanwhile, the Instant Launch option skips the fundraising period. It starts trading immediately using a bonding curve without requiring a minimum valuation.

Lower Fees for Creators

One of the key features of Pools.trade is its simple fee structure. Uniswap does not charge a separate fee for launching tokens through the platform, making it more accessible for developers and creators.

Instead, every liquidity pool uses the standard 0.25% liquidity provider fee, which is distributed to liquidity providers. Token creators also have the option to activate a 0.05% creator fee, allowing them to earn a small percentage from every trade involving their token.

The creator fee gives project teams a financial incentive to continue building their communities and encouraging trading activity after launch. At the same time, permanently locked liquidity helps reduce the risk of creators withdrawing the initial liquidity, a common concern in newly launched memecoins.Uniswap has launched Pools.trade, a memecoin launchpad on Robinhood Chain. The platform supports Crowd and Instant Launch models with permanently locked liquidity. The launch expands Uniswap’s ecosystem as UNI continues to gain market attention.

Robinhood Chain Already Shows Strong Trading Activity

Pools.trade enters a blockchain ecosystem that has attracted significant decentralized trading activity since Robinhood Chain’s public launch in July.

According to DefiLlama, Robinhood Chain currently records nearly $520 million in daily decentralized exchange volume, while stablecoins on the network have reached almost $598 million in market capitalization.

However, trading activity has cooled from its initial surge. Seven-day DEX volume has declined by more than 32% compared to the previous week, showing that early excitement has started to slow.

Even so, the chain continues to attract traders, especially those interested in newly launched memecoins.

UNI Shows Strong Performance as Exchange Supply Declines

The launch comes as UNI has gained attention following a strong rally over the past month.

Market intelligence platform Santiment reported that UNI supply on exchanges has fallen by 15.7% over the past month, while UNI has risen about 47% since the beginning of July.

A decline in exchange balances often suggests investors are moving UNI into private wallets instead of preparing to sell. However, exchange outflows do not guarantee further price gains, as tokens can be transferred for several reasons, including custody changes and movement between trading platforms.

Investors Should Remain Cautious

Despite the excitement surrounding Pools.trade, Uniswap says the platform is designed for memecoins, which remain highly speculative investments.

The company said it does not verify or endorse tokens listed on the platform. Simply appearing on Pools.trade should not be treated as proof that a project is legitimate.

While permanently locked liquidity helps reduce the risk of creators removing liquidity, it does not eliminate other risks such as concentrated token ownership, market manipulation, weak demand, or vulnerabilities within token contracts.

What Comes Next for Pools.trade?

The success of Pools.trade will depend on whether new projects can attract enough interest to complete their launches and maintain trading activity after listing.

Investors will also be watching how much liquidity remains locked, how many unique traders use the platform, and whether creator incentives help projects build long-term communities.

By moving into token creation alongside trading and liquidity services, Uniswap is expanding beyond its traditional role as a decentralized exchange. Whether Pools.trade becomes a leading memecoin launch platform will depend on sustained user activity and the quality of projects launched on Robinhood Chain.
