- Uniswap recorded $71.1 billion in monthly trading volume, far ahead of its closest DEX competitors.
- UNI traded near $6.21 as strong protocol earnings and ongoing token burns supported the network.
Uniswap recorded $71.1 billion in trading volume over the past 30 days, putting the DEX well ahead of its closest competitors. The strong activity comes as Uniswap expands across multiple blockchain networks and generates millions in protocol earnings.
Uniswap Leads the DEX Market
Uniswap processed more than $21.3 billion in transactions over the past week, averaging about $2 billion in daily trading activity. Its $71.1 billion monthly volume was more than the combined volume of the next three DEXs tracked by DeFiLlama.

PancakeSwap ranked closest to Uniswap with $29.8 billion over the same 30-day period. That leaves a gap of more than $41 billion between the two platforms.
Uniswap v4 accounted for about $38 billion of the monthly volume, while v3 added roughly $32 billion. Version 2 contributed another $1.2 billion.
Multi-Chain Expansion Supports Uniswap Volume
Uniswap now operates across more than 40 blockchain networks. Ethereum remains its largest network by total value locked, while Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Polygon and Robinhood Chain also contribute to trading activity.
Robinhood Chain recorded about $1.35 billion in DEX volume on September 13. Uniswap handled around $262 million of that amount, highlighting the role of newer networks in its overall trading activity.
$UNI is starting to look interesting on the daily chart.
Price has already broken the long-term descending trendline and is now holding above the rising support from the lows. After the first expansion, I’d rather wait for a pullback than chase it around $6.

The protocol has also continued to generate substantial fees. From January through July 2026, Uniswap collected $28.2 million in protocol earnings from $297.9 million in total trading fees.
Protocol earnings reached a monthly high of $5.3 million in June. By early August, cumulative revenue following the activation of fees had increased to $29.8 million.
UNI Price Holds Near $6.21 as Supply Burns Continue
Uniswap expanded its fee structure to v4 liquidity pools across seven blockchain networks in July through Governance Proposal 100. The change increased projected daily protocol earnings from about $114,000 to $325,000.
The collected fees are deposited into TokenJar smart contracts, while the Firepit mechanism allows UNI holders to eliminate tokens in exchange for access to those fees. A separate 100 million UNI treasury burn has also reduced the overall supply.
Despite these measures, the impact on supply remains limited. About 623 million UNI are currently in circulation, giving the project a market capitalization of roughly $3.85 billion.
UNI traded near $6.21 on September 13, down about 2% from the previous session. The price moved between approximately $6.17 and $6.55 during the day.
