Uniswap Price Targets $4.18 as TVL Climbs to $3.59 Billion

Uniswap continued its upward trend after posting double-digit gains and climbing above $3.92. The latest move comes as on-chain activity across the protocol shows stronger participation from traders and liquidity providers.

Rising capital inflows, higher trading activity, and bullish derivatives data have all supported the recent rally. However, downside risks remain if market sentiment weakens in the short term.

Uniswap TVL Climbs to Highest Level Since February

One of the strongest signals behind UNI’s recent rise is the growth in total value locked (TVL). Uniswap’s TVL increased to $3.59 billion, marking its highest level since early February. TVL measures the total amount of assets deposited inside a decentralized finance protocol. A rising TVL often reflects growing investor confidence and stronger user activity.

The latest increase suggests liquidity is steadily returning to the platform as broader crypto market conditions improve. Higher liquidity can also support more trading activity across the protocol.

Protocol Earnings Show Strong Growth

Uniswap’s earnings have also recorded a sharp increase in recent weeks. Since April 1, the protocol has generated nearly $4.23 million in quarterly earnings. That figure already represents more than 65% of its total Q1 2026 earnings, even with several weeks remaining in the current quarter.

If trading activity continues to rise, Uniswap could be on track to record one of its strongest quarterly performances yet. Increased protocol earnings are often viewed as a sign of stronger network usage and growing demand for decentralized trading services.

Bullish Traders Continue to Dominate the UNI Market

Derivatives data also points to continued bullish sentiment around UNI.

The OI-weighted funding rate climbed to 0.0060% over the past 24 hours, showing that long traders remain in control of the market. Positive funding rates usually indicate that traders are willing to pay premiums to maintain bullish positions.

Trading volume also jumped sharply, reaching nearly $459 million. Rising volume alongside price growth is often considered a healthy sign because it confirms active buying interest. Open interest across UNI perpetual contracts has also remained elevated, with more than $250 million in positions still active.

Can UNI Hold Above $3.90?

Despite the strong rally, liquidity data still shows some downside risks for UNI.

Liquidity clusters below the current price could increase volatility if the market turns bearish. Under that scenario, UNI may retrace toward the $3.60 support zone.

However, if buying pressure remains strong, bulls could push UNI toward the next resistance level near $4.18.

For now, the overall market structure continues to favor buyers as long as Uniswap maintains support above the $3.90 region.

Final Thoughts

Uniswap’s latest rally has been backed by rising TVL, stronger protocol earnings, and growing trading activity. Bullish sentiment in the derivatives market has also supported the move higher.

While downside risks still exist, continued capital inflows and active user participation could help UNI maintain its bullish structure in the near term.
