- XRP ETFs attracted $643 million in their first month, showing strong institutional interest despite market volatility.
- Daily inflows remained positive, signaling continued accumulation and reduced liquid supply on exchanges.
XRP’s first month of ETF trading has delivered stronger-than-expected interest from institutions, with inflows showing steady accumulation even as market volatility persisted. Data from SoSoValue highlights how the new products are already shaping XRP’s liquidity and visibility across US exchanges.
Early ETF Inflows Signal Strong Market Entry
XRP spot ETFs recorded a combined $643.92 million in net inflows during their first 30 days of trading, quickly amassing $676.49 million in total net assets. This means the products captured 0.50% of XRP’s entire market capitalization—an impressive figure for a newly launched asset class.
Large inflow days included November 14, with $243.05 million, and November 24, with $164.04 million. These spikes reflected growing institutional confidence, even as XRP traded around $2.23 amid broader crypto-market weakness.
The leading issuers are Grayscale, Franklin Templeton, Bitwise, and Canary, collectively pushing ETF-held XRP above 0.5% of the circulating supply. This shift indicates that the earliest buyers were not retail traders, but institutions positioning for long-term exposure.
Trading Volumes Hold Firm Despite Price Swings
The ETFs generated $38.12 million in trading volume on November 26 alone. Earlier in the month, volumes were higher, aligning with the biggest inflow days.
Meanwhile, more players are preparing to enter the sector. 21Shares is expected to launch its own XRP ETF on Monday, while WisdomTree’s filing remains under review. The competitive landscape is expanding quickly as institutional appetite continues to grow.
Franklin Templeton disclosed holding 32.04 million XRP in its ETF by November 25, reinforcing the accumulation trend among issuers.
Institutions Maintain Steady Exposure
ETF inflows increased on nine of the last ten trading sessions. The most recent daily figure, $21.81 million on November 26, shows that institutions are still adding positions rather than taking profits.
These inflows also reduce the liquid supply on exchanges, as custodians move XRP into regulated storage. Combined with clearer regulation, this pattern strengthens the long-term outlook for XRP-based investment products.
Although Dogecoin, HBAR, and Litecoin also launched spot ETFs this month, they failed to attract similar attention. For example, Dogecoin ETFs from Bitwise and Grayscale saw only around $2 million in inflows during their first 48 hours.
XRP, by contrast, appears to be establishing itself as the most institutionally favored altcoin ETF of the quarter.
