XRP Price Signals 35% Breakout as Symmetrical Triangle Pattern Tightens

XRP logo rising over global financial charts, symbolizing price surge and future growth predictions

XRP is entering a decisive phase as its price compresses inside a symmetrical triangle pattern. Analysts say the setup could trigger a sharp 35% move once direction is confirmed.

XRP Trades Sideways as Compression Builds

XRP has been moving mostly sideways for months, showing a clear tightening range on the daily chart. Market watchers say this kind of structure often leads to a strong breakout.

At the time of writing, XRP is trading near $1.40, up about 6% on the week. However, it remains slightly lower on the monthly timeframe and well below its 2025 peak.

Analyst Ali Martinez noted that XRP is forming a symmetrical triangle, suggesting a potential 35% price swing once the breakout occurs.

Another analyst, ChartNerd, added that the price is nearing the apex of the pattern. He also pointed to the 20-day and 50-day exponential moving averages as key levels to watch. Losing them could open room for a deeper pullback.

RSI Divergence Signals Weakening Selling Pressure

Despite prices making lower lows, the RSI is forming higher lows. This divergence often signals fading selling pressure.

Analyst Arthur highlighted this pattern and noted that XRP recently broke above a horizontal resistance level around $1.40. He described the setup as increasingly important for traders watching for a breakout.

This type of divergence does not confirm direction on its own. However, it often appears before stronger price moves.

Mixed Market Signals Keep Traders Cautious

While technical patterns point to a potential breakout, market data shows mixed sentiment.

XRP’s Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) remains negative at around -7.18 million. This means sell orders have still been stronger than buy orders. However, the 30-day correlation between price and CVD has improved to 0.61. This suggests market behavior is slowly stabilizing, even if the direction is still unclear.

On-chain data also shows that large wallet activity remains inconsistent. Transfers above 100,000 XRP have been irregular, signaling no strong whale-driven trend.

ETF Inflows and Ecosystem Growth Support Sentiment

Outside the charts, XRP has seen improving fundamentals.

Spot XRP ETFs recorded their strongest performance in three months, bringing in $55.39 million in net inflows, according to market data. This reflects renewed investor interest after a weaker period in the market. One standout day contributed $17.11 million in inflows, marking the strongest single-session performance in over ten weeks. Total ETF inflows are now approaching $1.27 billion.

This recovery follows a softer March, when ETF products recorded $31 million in net outflows, highlighting earlier caution among investors before sentiment began to improve.

Meanwhile, ecosystem activity is also expanding. A wrapped XRP token, wXRP, was launched on Solana through a partnership involving Hex Trust and LayerZero. It is now usable across DeFi platforms such as Jupiter Exchange and Phantom wallet.

XRP Price Outlook Hinges on Breakout Direction

XRP briefly touched $1.50 before facing rejection and pulling back. The market is now waiting for confirmation from the symmetrical triangle pattern.

A breakout could trigger a move of around 35%, according to analysts. However, failure to hold key support levels may lead to another downside test.

For now, XRP remains in a tight technical setup. The next move will likely define its short-term direction.
