Cardano Adds 14,783 New Wallets as ADA Rebounds Toward $0.20

  • Cardano added 14,783 new non-empty wallets after its June bottom, signaling renewed holder growth as ADA recovered toward $0.20.
  • However, stronger network activity and buying demand are still needed to confirm a sustained recovery.

Cardano is showing signs of network growth after adding thousands of new wallets following a difficult month for the ecosystem. The increase in non-empty ADA wallets comes as the price recovers from its late-June lows and moves closer to the $0.20 mark.

Although the recovery has improved sentiment, Cardano still faces several challenges before confirming a stronger market turnaround.

Cardano Records Strong Wallet Growth

Cardano has added 14,783 non-empty ADA wallets since reaching a holder-count low on June 23, according to on-chain data from Santiment. The increase suggests that more users are holding ADA again after a period marked by fear and uncertainty.

The Total Holders metric, which tracks wallets with a positive ADA balance, continued to rise even after the price cooled following its recent rally. This growth points to renewed interest in Cardano despite the network’s recent struggles.

At the time of writing, ADA is trading near $0.19 after recovering from its late-June low. The price briefly climbed about 35% from that bottom before pulling back.

June Was a Difficult Month for Cardano

The latest wallet growth follows a challenging period for the Cardano ecosystem.

ADA traded near price levels last seen several years ago, leading to growing concerns among investors. Discussions about slow application development, limited DeFi activity, and ecosystem funding also weighed on community sentiment.

At the same time, comments from Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson sparked further debate, while conversations around shifting community engagement away from X added to the uncertainty.

Despite the negative outlook, some long-term holders continued accumulating ADA as others exited their positions. Earlier on-chain data also showed that the largest Cardano wallets still controlled a significant share of the circulating supply.

Can ADA Sustain Its Recovery?

The rise in wallet numbers is an encouraging sign, but it does not guarantee that Cardano has entered a lasting recovery.

For the current rebound to gain strength, Cardano will likely need stronger spot trading volume, increased on-chain activity, higher DeFi participation, and growing transaction demand. These factors would provide stronger support for continued price gains.

A move above $0.20 would also be significant, as it would return ADA to price levels not seen in about a month. However, that area has previously acted as resistance, making it an important level to watch.

Outlook Remains Cautiously Positive

Cardano’s latest wallet growth shows that investor participation has started to improve following June’s sharp decline in sentiment. Nearly 15,000 additional non-empty wallets indicate that confidence is gradually returning as ADA attempts to recover.

Even so, Cardano still needs stronger network activity and sustained buying interest before the current rebound can be viewed as the beginning of a broader recovery. Until then, the recent increase in holders offers a positive signal, but further confirmation remains necessary.
