Chainlink Price Drops as Market Weakness Overshadows Strong Revenue

CHAINLINK IMAGE

Chainlink’s price faced renewed pressure as broader crypto markets turned lower, even while the network’s revenue and reserves continued to strengthen. The contrast between short-term price action and long-term fundamentals has left traders cautious and direction unclear.

At the time of writing, LINK trades near $10.74, marking a 6.74% daily decline. The drop mirrors wider market conditions, with Bitcoin sliding roughly 7% and total crypto market value shedding about $200 billion. This suggests the move reflects macro pressure rather than Chainlink-specific weakness.

Rising Trading Activity Signals Uncertainty, Not Exit

Trading volume for LINK surged sharply, climbing 102% to around $660 million. Despite the jump, price behavior remained confined to a narrow range. The same support zone has been tested repeatedly, without a decisive break higher or lower.

Such behavior often reflects indecision. Buyers continue to defend support, but follow-through remains limited. The market appears hesitant, waiting for clearer signals before committing to a sustained move.

Chainlink Revenue and Reserves Continue to Build

While price struggles, Chainlink’s fundamentals show steady improvement. The Chainlink Reserve recently added 99,103.22 LINK, pushing total holdings to 1,774,215.90 LINK. These reserves are funded through operating income, not speculative inflows.

Revenue data reinforces this picture. According to Token Terminal, Chainlink generated $5.7 million in revenue over the past 30 days. Income came from CCIP activity, Oracle services, and payment aggregator distributions across several blockchains.

Revenue flow appears uneven, with sharp spikes instead of consistent daily earnings. Peak days reached $1.0 million to $1.2 million, a pattern commonly associated with enterprise settlements and protocol-level usage rather than retail activity. This structure supports Chainlink’s role as blockchain infrastructure rather than a speculative product.

Chainlink’s dominance in interoperability also remains clear. The network accounts for about 90.3% of total measured interoperability revenue, far ahead of competitors such as deBridge, which recorded roughly $494,000 over the same period.

LINK Price Holds Support as Buyers Remain Cautious

Technical analysis shows LINK repeatedly testing the same support area. Analyst Siuul of AltCryptoGems highlighted that each bounce has been modest, with rallies failing to reclaim prior resistance levels.

High volume during the recent decline points to strong participation, yet upside follow-through has not appeared. Until a clear break above the recent structure occurs, many traders seem content to wait.

For now, support remains intact, but confidence stays limited as fundamentals and price action continue to diverge.
