The accumulation added strong buying pressure to the market. It also signaled renewed interest from high-capital investors.
ETF Inflows and Futures Activity Add Institutional Support
Institutional products tracking Dogecoin also saw fresh inflows. The Grayscale Dogecoin Trust ETF, 21Shares Dogecoin ETF, and Bitwise Dogecoin ETF recorded nearly $460,000 in net inflows for the week ending May 1. Although modest in size, the inflows showed growing participation from traditional investors. This helped reinforce the broader upward move.
Dogecoin derivatives activity increased significantly over the same period. Open interest in DOGE futures rose nearly 30 percent to about $1.77 billion. Trading data also showed stronger bullish positioning. The long-to-short ratio reached 1.8, indicating more traders were betting on price gains.

The Stochastic RSI also suggested favorable conditions for buyers. Meanwhile, the Bull Bear Power indicator stayed neutral, showing no strong dominance from sellers.
Dogecoin traded around $0.1127 at the time of writing. The price increased by 4.24 percent in the past 24 hours. Over the week, Dogecoin gained more than 12 percent. The move reflected stronger demand from both retail and institutional participants.
