- NEAR Protocol rose 11% as strong network activity, and a growing number of holders supported the move.
- $60M in new longs and steady inflows signaled bullish sentiment and potential for further gains.
NEAR Protocol recorded an 11% price increase in the past 24 hours as strong network activity, rising investor participation, and heavy derivatives positioning aligned to support the move. The rally comes amid growing interest in AI-linked blockchain projects and increasing capital inflows across both spot and futures markets.
Holder count reaches a new all-time high
NEAR has seen its total holder count rise to an all-time high of 11,720 addresses, showing steady accumulation and expanding investor participation. The increase suggests growing confidence in the protocol’s long-term value as more users continue to hold rather than exit positions.

Market sentiment also remains strongly positive, with about 94 percent of over 147,500 participants expecting further price gains. This reflects a broadly bullish outlook across the community and reinforces the strength of current market sentiment.
Network activity surges to 209 million transactions
NEAR protocol usage has expanded significantly, with total transactions reaching approximately 209 million over the past month. Out of this total, around 87 million were private transactions, highlighting increased demand for privacy-focused blockchain activity.
The protocol is also ranked as the second-largest asset in the AI category by market capitalization, with a valuation of about $19.49 billion. This positioning continues to strengthen NEAR’s visibility as one of the key players in the AI blockchain sector.
$60 million in new long positions fuel derivatives momentum
Derivatives data shows a sharp increase in speculative activity, with open interest rising around 20 percent in 24 hours to approximately $300 million. Within this move, about $60 million in new leveraged positions were opened.

Most of these positions are long contracts, indicating that traders are positioning for further upside. Funding rate data also confirms that bullish traders dominate current market positioning, suggesting strong confidence in continued price appreciation.
Spot inflows confirm consistent buying pressure
Spot market activity has also supported the rally, with NEAR recording four consecutive days of net inflows. In the last 24 hours alone, net inflows reached around $454,000, bringing the six-day total to approximately $10.48 million.
This consistent buying pressure across spot markets, combined with aggressive long positioning in derivatives, shows strong capital support behind the current price move. It also reduces the likelihood of immediate downside pressure in the short term.
Outlook remains bullish as momentum builds
NEAR continues to benefit from rising adoption, strong transaction growth, and increasing investor participation. With holder counts at record levels and network usage expanding rapidly, market confidence remains firm.
The addition of $60 million in new long positions further strengthens the bullish case. If current inflows and sentiment persist, NEAR could extend its gains in the coming sessions.
