- Pi Network enters June 2026 near its all-time low, with heavy token unlocks and exchange inflows maintaining strong selling pressure.
- However, MACD signals and a large whale accumulation suggest a possible short-term rebound if buyers gain control.
Pi Network heads into June 2026 at a critical point, with price sitting near record lows and mixed signals across on-chain and technical data. While selling pressure remains high due to daily unlocks and exchange inflows, a key technical indicator and whale accumulation suggest a possible short-term rebound.
Market Setup Shows Weak Price Near All-Time Low
Pi Network is trading around $0.143, just above its all-time low of $0.1296. The coin has remained under pressure since its February peak, forming a consistent pattern of lower lows.
Trading volume has also slowed through May, showing reduced market participation. At the same time, daily token unlocks continue to add fresh supply into circulation, keeping bearish pressure intact.
MACD Indicator Points to Potential Short-Term Rebound
Despite the downtrend, the MACD indicator on the daily chart is flashing a possible early June reversal signal. In previous cycles, similar crossovers have triggered strong short-term rallies.
Past MACD signals produced gains of 53.56%, 30.39%, 122.07%, and 21.36%. The average of successful moves suggests a potential upside of around 55%, which could push PI toward $0.22.
That level also aligns with the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement zone, making it a key resistance area if a rebound develops. However, history also shows false signals during low-volume conditions, meaning confirmation is still required.
Whale Wallet Accumulation Reaches 400 Million PI
One large wallet labeled “GAS…ODM” has now accumulated over 400 million PI, becoming the largest known holder. Recent on-chain activity shows steady buying, including more than 1.5 million PI added in a single day.
This consistent accumulation has continued through the broader market decline, suggesting strong interest at lower price levels.
Some analysts believe the wallet could represent institutional accumulation or a structured buyback strategy, although no official confirmation exists. Regardless of ownership, the activity stands out against the broader selling trend.
Exchange Inflows Suggest Ongoing Sell Pressure
While whale accumulation continues, exchange data shows a different picture. Around 545 million PI is currently held in exchange wallets, with net inflows of about 1.5 million PI in 24 hours.
Exchange inflows typically signal potential selling activity, which adds pressure to price stability. This means that even strong whale buying has not fully offset broader distribution into trading platforms. The result is a market balancing between accumulation and ongoing sell-side supply.
Protocol Upgrades Add Catalysts to June Calendar
Fundamentals also play a major role in June’s setup. Pi Network continues to expand its ecosystem, with over 18.1 million verified users and millions of completed migrations.
Three scheduled upgrades are expected in June:
- June 2: Protocol 24 node upgrade deadline
- June 8: Protocol v25.1 release
- June 22: Protocol v26.0 rollout
These updates focus on node performance, scalability, and smart contract improvements following the earlier Protocol 23 rollout.
The Pi Mainnet is upgrading to Protocol 24 – Deadline: June 2.
The Pi Mainnet has successfully upgraded to Protocol 23. All Mainnet nodes are required to complete this step before the deadline to remain connected to the network.

At the same time, daily unlocks average around 6.5 million PI, adding significant new supply each day. This keeps pressure on price even as development activity increases.
What Could Decide Pi Network’s Direction in June
June presents a rare convergence of four key forces: weak price structure, a potential MACD rebound signal, heavy token unlocks, and strong whale accumulation.
If buying pressure continues and the MACD signal plays out, PI could attempt a recovery toward the $0.22 region. If selling pressure dominates, the token may retest or break below its current support near $0.1296. The outcome will likely set the tone for Pi Network’s direction in the next quarter.
