- Pi Network Fast Track KYC allows new users and non-users to verify their identity and activate Mainnet wallets earlier than before.
- This feature provides secure early access to Pi apps and ecosystem events without affecting full Mainnet migration.
Pi Network has introduced Fast Track KYC, a new AI-powered feature designed to allow new users and non-users to verify their identity and activate their Mainnet wallets earlier than ever. This update builds on Pi’s ongoing efforts to expand wallet accessibility while maintaining strict security standards, ensuring that more users can participate in the Pi ecosystem without delay.

Early Access to the Pi Network Mainnet Ecosystem
Previously, new Pioneers needed to complete at least 30 mining sessions before submitting a KYC application. This requirement naturally delayed participation in the Mainnet ecosystem. Fast Track KYC removes that barrier, allowing users with fewer than 30 mining sessions—or even those who haven’t joined yet—to start the verification process immediately. Eligible users can access this option directly within the Pi Wallet app, completing identity verification and activating their Mainnet wallet instantly.
What Fast Track KYC Enables
Once verified through Fast Track KYC, new Pioneers can engage with Pi apps, local commerce, and ecosystem events. However, it’s important to note that Fast Track KYC does not enable full Mainnet migration. Mined balances will only transfer once the user meets full eligibility requirements, including completing the standard KYC and the Mainnet Checklist after 30 mining sessions.
Unlike third-party solutions, Fast Track KYC operates natively within the Pi ecosystem, providing a secure, reliable, and efficient way to verify identity. While third-party providers such as Banxa remain available, they are now optional rather than the only onboarding solution for new Pioneers.

Maintaining KYC Integrity
Fast Track KYC is not a shortcut for approval. Applications that do not meet standard KYC requirements will be rejected, ensuring the quality and security of the verification process. In some cases, the automated nature of Fast Track KYC may apply even more conservative standards to maintain the integrity of the network.
Strengthening the Pi Network
By enabling verified users to access the Mainnet ecosystem sooner, Fast Track KYC supports Pi’s vision of a utility-driven digital ecosystem. Developers benefit from a larger verified audience, while users can actively participate in apps and events earlier. This approach also aligns with emerging industry standards, such as ERC-3643, which embed identity verification directly into blockchain tokens.
With over 14.82 million KYC-verified users on Pi Mainnet, Fast Track KYC marks a significant milestone in expanding secure, accessible blockchain participation for both new and existing users.
