  • Solana activity reached a record 4.2 billion transactions in July as SOL climbed above $100.
  • Rising DEX volume and real-world asset adoption further highlight growing network use.

Solana activity reached a new monthly record in July as network use continued to expand. The surge came as SOL gained nearly 40% in eight days and moved above $100 for the first time since February.

The network processed 4.2 billion transactions in July, marking its highest monthly total on record. Activity also increased across decentralized exchanges and tokenized real-world assets.

BREAKING: Total onchain transaction count on Solana hit a record 4.2 billion in July, up +13.5% month-over-month.

This marks an increase of 2 billion transactions compared to December 2025, or +91%.

Solana Transactions Reach 4.2 Billion

Data presented by The Kobeissi Letter on August 25 showed that Solana processed 4.2 billion transactions in July. That figure was 13.5% higher than June’s total.

Monthly transaction activity has also grown sharply since late 2025. Solana has added about 2 billion transactions per month since December, representing a 91% increase over seven months.

The network also recorded strong activity in August. Between August 17 and August 23, Solana processed 1.32 billion non-vote transactions. That marked its busiest seven-day period on record.

DefiLlama data showed about 109 million transactions and 2.7 million active addresses over a 24-hour period ending August 25. Transaction figures can vary between data providers because they use different counting methods.

Solana DEX Volume and Stablecoin Supply Rise

Trading activity has also increased alongside network usage. Solana recorded $20.14 billion in decentralized exchange volume over seven days. That represented a 103% increase from the previous week. Daily DEX volume reached about $3.02 billion during the period.

Solana’s stablecoin supply also climbed to around $15.94 billion. The figure increased 3.58% over seven days, with USDC representing about 44.95% of the network’s stablecoin market. These figures point to growing activity across trading and onchain applications.

Solana RWA Value Nears $4 Billion

Tokenized real-world assets have become another major growth area for Solana. RWA.xyz data showed that distributed RWA value reached about $3.97 billion on August 25.

The figure increased 11.81% over 30 days. RWA.xyz tracked 1,243 assets on Solana, while more than 313,000 holders were reported by the Solana Foundation at the end of July. Solana’s RWA value stood at $3.73 billion at the end of July. This means roughly $240 million was added by August 25.

The growth follows a strong first quarter. Messari previously reported that Solana’s RWA market capitalization rose 43% to $2.01 billion during that period.

SOL Breaks Above $100

SOL has also benefited from the broader rise in crypto markets. CoinMarketCap data showed that SOL gained about 40% over eight days.

The rally pushed SOL above $100 for the first time since February. Before reaching that level, SOL had gained 25% over seven days and reached $93.39 on August 21.

SOL later climbed to an intraday high near $102.88 before selling pressure pushed the price lower. Buyers defended the pullback toward $88, helping SOL recover into the mid-$90 range.

The $100 area remains an important resistance level. A sustained move above that level could strengthen the recovery, while a decline below key moving averages could weaken the setup.

SOL remains well below its January 2025 record near $295. Still, rising network activity, DEX volume and RWA adoption provide important support for the ongoing recovery.

Treasury Buybacks Add Support

The latest SOL rally also came after the U.S. Treasury announced larger buyback operations for long-term government securities.

Starting September 9, the maximum size will increase from $2 billion to at least $4 billion per operation. The announcement helped push the 30-year Treasury yield lower.

Long-term yields fell from a 19-year high of 5.34% to around 5.19%. Lower yields coincided with gains across Bitcoin, Ethereum and SOL.

For Solana, the combination of record network activity and improving market conditions has strengthened the recovery above $100.
