The decline also affected traders betting on a price increase. Long liquidations across major exchanges reached approximately $790,000 as SUI moved lower.
No short liquidations were recorded during the same period. The liquidation data therefore showed that traders holding long positions accounted for the reported forced closures during the decline.

SUI fell 10.78% on September 29, bringing its price to around $1.20. The market capitalization stood at approximately $4.9 billion, while sell orders accounted for 55% of total activity.
The higher share of sell orders showed that selling activity exceeded buying activity during the period, adding further pressure on SUI’s price.
SUI’s latest move leaves the coin down more than 12% over 24 hours, while the liquidation figures and order activity point to continued selling.
The combination of a double-digit daily loss, $790,000 in long liquidations and a 55% share of sell orders shows that buyers had yet to regain control of the market.
