  • Bybit will support the Terra Classic (LUNC) v3.6.1 network upgrade on Dec 18, 2025, temporarily suspending deposits and withdrawals.
  • Trading will continue uninterrupted, with alerts available for service resumption.

Bybit has announced its support for the upcoming Terra Classic (LUNC) v3.6.1 network upgrade. Scheduled for December 18, 2025, at approximately 08:00 PM UTC, this upgrade will occur at block height 26,479,000, marking a significant step in Terra Classic’s ongoing development.

Temporary Suspension of Deposits and Withdrawals

To ensure a seamless transition during the network upgrade. Bybit will temporarily suspend LUNC deposits and withdrawals starting from December 18, 2025, at 07:00 PM UTC. This precautionary measure is standard practice for exchanges during network upgrades to prevent transaction failures or potential loss of funds.

Traders and investors should note that while deposits and withdrawals will be paused, other activities such as trading will remain fully operational. This means users can continue buying, selling, and managing their LUNC positions without interruption.

Stay Updated on Service Resumption

Bybit has clarified that no additional announcements will be made regarding the resumption of deposits and withdrawals. Users who want to be notified once these services are active again can do so by visiting the Deposit or Withdrawal page on Bybit and tapping Set Alert. This ensures users receive real-time updates and can plan their transactions accordingly.

Why This Upgrade Matters

Network upgrades like v3.6.1 are essential for maintaining the security, stability, and performance of the Terra Classic blockchain. Such upgrades often include bug fixes, performance optimizations, and improvements to support future functionalities. By supporting the upgrade, Bybit ensures that LUNC holders on its platform remain aligned with the latest developments in the network.

For users seeking more technical details about the v3.6.1 upgrade, Bybit encourages referring to the official release notes provided by Terra Classic. Staying informed can help users better understand the changes and the benefits they bring to the ecosystem.

Bybit’s proactive communication reflects its commitment to supporting Terra Classic and ensuring a smooth experience for all users during critical network updates.
