- XRP is gaining strength as real-world asset tokenization, a growing stablecoin base, and more users drive activity on the XRPL.
- These factors support higher liquidity, broader adoption, and long-term potential for the cryptocurrency.
XRP is showing strong signs of sustained growth, thanks to increasing adoption of tokenized assets and a rapidly expanding stablecoin base. Coupled with a rising number of users, these factors point to a promising future for the cryptocurrency through December and beyond.
Real-World Assets Boost XRPL Activity
One major driver of XRP’s recent surge is the rise of real-world asset (RWA) tokenization on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). Tokenization allows assets such as U.S. Treasuries or cash equivalents to be represented as crypto tokens, enabling faster settlement and lower friction.
During the 30-day period ending October 13, the total RWA value on XRPL increased by 4.3% to $364.9 million, with transfer volumes up roughly 42%. This indicates not only that capital is landing on the network but also that it is actively moving. Each transfer slightly reduces XRP circulation, demonstrating network utility while encouraging liquidity and institutional attention.
Stablecoin Growth Strengthens XRP Liquidity
Stablecoins act as the cash equivalents that settle tokenized assets, and their base on XRPL has jumped by about 37% in the past month to nearly $287 million. Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin also scaled to $839.6 million across supported chains, offering institutional-grade compliance and redemption capabilities.
A deeper stablecoin base allows more tokenized assets to circulate without liquidity constraints, which in turn supports higher XRP activity and encourages further adoption by issuers. The network becomes more attractive for future participants, creating a positive feedback loop for XRP demand.
Expanding Holder Base Stabilizes Activity
The number of unique stablecoin holders on XRPL grew by roughly 7% in the past month, reaching around 33,960 wallets. A broader holder base stabilizes economic activity by reducing dependence on a small number of large holders. More participants also create additional corridors for payments and asset redemptions, further supporting network utility.
Ripple’s expansion into regulated hubs, such as Bahrain Fintech Bay, ties tokenization and stablecoin infrastructure to local oversight, appealing to financial institutions seeking compliance-friendly solutions.
With these tailwinds—tokenized assets, stablecoin growth, and a widening user base—XRP appears well-positioned for continued strength through December and into 2026. Investors seeking a crypto asset with real-world utility and compliance-ready infrastructure may find XRP an attractive choice for the long term.
