Hedera has gained official wallet support through a new integration with SafePal.
The update allows users to store, send, and receive HBAR using the SafePal mobile app and SafePal hardware wallets. Support is live following SafePal’s latest wallet update on December 22, 2025.
The integration includes Hedera’s EVM-compatible environment. Native assets on Hedera EVM are now supported within SafePal. This improves access to the Hedera ecosystem and strengthens cross-chain usability.
SafePal users can also explore decentralized applications built on Hedera EVM directly through the wallet interface.
Hedera is a fully open-source public distributed ledger. It uses hashgraph consensus to deliver high throughput, deterministic finality, and predictable transaction fees. The network supports Solidity-based smart contracts, native tokenization, and consensus services.
Hedera’s EVM compatibility allows developers to deploy Ethereum-based smart contracts while benefiting from Hedera’s underlying distributed ledger technology.
SafePal is a non-custodial wallet provider founded in 2018. The platform supports over 200 blockchains across mobile, hardware, and browser-based wallets. SafePal serves more than 25 million users globally.
The integration expands Hedera’s accessibility and strengthens wallet-level support for HBAR and Hedera-based applications.
