Hyperliquid Surpasses $1 Billion in Revenue
Hyperliquid has exceeded $1.02 billion in cumulative protocol revenue, marking a significant achievement for the fast-growing DeFi platform. At the same time, its annualized revenue run rate has approached $840 million, placing it among the highest-earning decentralized finance protocols.
The platform has benefited from steady growth in derivatives trading throughout the year. Higher trading activity has translated into stronger fee generation, giving Hyperliquid a revenue stream that few crypto projects can match.
This performance has strengthened confidence among investors who increasingly value projects backed by sustainable business models instead of market hype alone.
Buyback Program Continues to Reduce Token Supply
One of Hyperliquid’s strongest advantages remains its aggressive token buyback system.
Market estimates suggest that between 97% and 99% of protocol fees are directed toward ecosystem support and buying back HYPE tokens. As more fees are collected, additional tokens are purchased and removed from circulation.

Meanwhile, Hyperliquid’s total value locked (TVL) has climbed to nearly $5.75 billion. The growing amount of capital locked within the protocol reflects rising user confidence and continued ecosystem expansion.
Whale Activity Raises Short-Term Questions
Despite the positive outlook, recent on-chain data has shown signs of profit-taking by large investors.
Major HYPE holders reportedly transferred around 77,400 HYPE tokens, valued at approximately $5.18 million, to centralized exchanges over several hours.
