  • Pi Network gaming app CiDi Games attracted over 81,000 users and 1.2 million game sessions in one week after its beta launch.
  • The strong organic growth highlights rising engagement and expanding utility within the Pi ecosystem.

CiDi Games launched its beta gaming platform on May 14 inside the Pi Browser, bringing instant-access HTML5 games to Pi Network users. The launch adds a new gaming layer to the Pi ecosystem, targeting Pioneers with lightweight browser-based gameplay.

The beta quickly attracted strong user engagement, reinforcing the value of building directly within Pi Network. The platform combines gaming, community interaction, tournaments, and developer tools into a single Pi-powered environment.

CiDi Games Brings Instant Gaming to Pi Browser

CiDi Games launched with 10 games across several categories, including casual, puzzle, idle, action, and competitive titles. Players can access the games instantly through the Pi Browser without downloads or complicated installations.

The platform also introduced several core features designed to improve user engagement. These include skill-based tournaments, CiDiScore progression systems, and the Pi ELF companion experience called Elf Continent.

By combining gameplay with community participation, CiDi Games is creating a larger ecosystem instead of offering standalone games only. The project also gives developers infrastructure to build Pi-integrated games in the future.

As a portfolio company backed by Pi Network Ventures, CiDi Games provides another real-world use case for Pi while helping expand the ecosystem’s utility.

CiDi Games Records Strong Organic Growth

The beta launch produced impressive results in less than one week. According to the project, more than 81,000 Pioneers from over 160 countries and regions joined the platform organically.

User activity also remained strong during the first week. CiDi Games recorded more than 1.2 million game sessions alongside over 21,000 tournament participants.

The platform also generated significant ad activity through the Pi Ad Network. This demonstrated how developers inside the Pi ecosystem can begin monetizing apps when they create engaging products with real utility.

Community support for the project also became visible through Ecosystem Directory Staking. CiDi Games received a total staking boost of 3.19 million Pi, with most of the staking coming directly from community members.

One notable detail from the launch is that the growth happened without promotion from Pi Network’s official accounts. Users discovered the platform independently through the ecosystem itself.

What CiDi Games Means for Pi Developers

The success of CiDi Games highlights one of the biggest advantages of building on Pi Network. While app development has become easier globally, finding active users remains difficult for many developers.

Pi Network offers access to a large community of more than 60 million engaged Pioneers. Developers can publish apps inside an ecosystem where users can discover, test, support, and interact with products directly.

The platform also provides several built-in tools, including Pi Wallet integration, global payments, social access, and the Pi Ad Network.

Pi Network recently expanded its developer support through Pi App Studio. Builders using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Replit, Cursor, Codex, and Lovable can now integrate the Pi SDK more easily using ready-made prompts.

Developers can also add Pi payments, verify integrations, and prepare applications for deployment directly into the Pi ecosystem.

CiDi Games Plans More Expansion

CiDi Games confirmed that development will continue after the beta launch. The team plans to gather community feedback, improve platform features, refine user experience, and expand the game library over time. The project believes real user activity will help identify new opportunities and improve utility across the platform.

As more developers continue building inside the Pi ecosystem, CiDi Games may become an example of how Pi-powered applications can grow organically while creating practical use cases for the network.
