- Solana (SOL) has broken above $142 and is consolidating, showing bullish pressure with potential to reach $150 and higher.
- Key support levels are $144 and $140, while resistance lies at $148 and $150.
Solana (SOL) has shown renewed bullish strength, climbing above key resistance levels and signaling potential gains in the near term. Investors and traders are watching closely as the cryptocurrency consolidates above $142, with the possibility of pushing toward $150 and beyond.
Solana Price Starts Fresh Surge
SOL recently staged a strong upward move after settling above the $135 zone, following similar positive momentum in Bitcoin and Ethereum. The price climbed past the $140 level, breaking the $142 resistance zone. Bulls pushed the price further above $145, reaching a short-term high of $148.
Currently, SOL is consolidating gains above $142, supported by the 100-hourly simple moving average. Technical charts show a bullish trend line with support at $140, suggesting a firm foundation for potential upside moves.
Key Resistance and Potential Gains
On the upside, SOL faces resistance near $148, with the next major hurdles at $150 and $155. A decisive break above $155 could set the stage for a steady rally toward $162, and further gains may even see SOL testing the $170 level.

Technical indicators support the bullish outlook. The hourly MACD is gaining in the bullish zone, while the RSI remains above 50, signaling growing buying interest.
Possible Downside Correction
Despite the positive momentum, a failure to surpass the $148 resistance could trigger a short-term decline. Initial support lies near $144, followed by the $143 level, which aligns with the 50% Fibonacci retracement of the recent upward move.
A break below $143 may push the price toward the $140 support zone and trend line. Should SOL close under $140, the next significant support is around $135, potentially marking the low for a near-term correction.
What Traders Should Watch
For traders, the key levels to monitor are $148 and $150 on the upside, and $144 and $140 on the downside. The consolidation above $142 suggests bullish pressure is still present, but caution is advised as minor pullbacks may occur before a sustained rally.
With SOL consolidating above major supports and bullish indicators pointing upward, the market may see further gains in the coming sessions.
