Solana Price Eyes $235 as $220 Resistance Comes Into Focus

SOLANA IMAGE OF PRICE ANALYSIS
  • Solana is trading near $219, with a breakout above $220 potentially pushing the price toward $235.
  • However, failure to hold $200 support could trigger a drop to $190, despite strong ETF-driven investor interest.

Solana (SOL) has started October on a strong note, holding just below the key $220 resistance level. After a solid run in September, the token is trading around $219 at press time, keeping investors optimistic about its near-term prospects. The excitement around potential ETF approvals is attracting both retail and institutional interest, adding further strength to Solana’s growing reputation in the Layer 1 ecosystem.

SOL/TetherUS PRICE CHART FOR 24 HOURS PERIOD

Upside potential for Solana

If Solana breaks above $220, analysts expect the next upward targets to fall between $225 and $235. Such a breakout would confirm bullish control in the market, especially with institutional inflows building due to ETF speculation. Confidence from larger investors, combined with Solana’s rising staking demand and ecosystem expansion, makes the bullish outlook more convincing.

Staking has reduced the available supply of SOL, increasing price pressure as demand rises. On top of this, ETF approval speculation across the crypto sector has lifted sentiment for altcoins beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum, with Solana benefiting strongly from the shift in attention.

Downside risks to watch

Despite the encouraging outlook, investors should remain cautious. If Solana fails to hold above $200, a correction toward $190 is possible, putting the bullish setup at risk. Technical charts also show signs of overbought conditions, which may trigger short-term consolidation before another breakout attempt.

Macroeconomic uncertainties and fragile conditions in the wider crypto market remain potential obstacles. Additionally, any delays in ETF approvals could cool investor enthusiasm, limiting Solana’s short-term price growth.

Solana price prediction based on current levels

For now, Solana is trading within the $200–$220 range. A decisive breakout above $220 could pave the way to $225–$235 in the near term. On the other hand, losing the $200 support could shift the short-term outlook bearish, targeting $190 as the next support zone.

Overall, Solana’s price forecast remains bullish, supported by strong liquidity, ecosystem growth, and increasing institutional interest tied to ETF speculation. As long as buyers defend key support levels, SOL could be preparing for another rally that pushes the token closer to $235.
