Why Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP Are Still Struggling to Rebound

  • Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP remain under pressure after failing to break key resistance levels, keeping downside risks in focus.
  • Technical indicators continue to favor further weakness without a clear recovery signal.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP remain under notable pressure as the broader crypto market shows little sign of a meaningful rebound. After repeated failures to break above key resistance levels, the top three cryptocurrencies are trading cautiously, with technical indicators still favoring the downside. Without a clear bullish trigger, price action suggests continued uncertainty in the days ahead.

Bitcoin Remains Below Key Resistance

Bitcoin is trading below the $69,000 level after failing to secure a daily close above the critical resistance near $73,000 earlier this week. The rejection at this level has reinforced selling pressure, pushing BTC lower over recent sessions.

If weakness persists, Bitcoin could extend its decline toward the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement level at $65,520. This level, drawn from the August 2024 low to the October 2025 peak, stands out as an important downside area to watch. Technical signals remain unfavorable, with the Relative Strength Index trending near oversold conditions and the MACD indicating continued downside risk.

On the upside, a recovery attempt would first require a strong daily close above $73,072. Without that move, Bitcoin’s price structure remains vulnerable to further pullbacks.

Ethereum Faces Strong Rejection Near $2,149

Ethereum has also struggled to regain a bullish stance after being rejected at the $2,149 resistance level, which aligns with the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement. Following that rejection, ETH slipped nearly 4% and is currently trading near $2,012.

Should selling pressure continue, Ethereum could revisit Friday’s low around $1,747. Technical indicators mirror Bitcoin’s setup, reinforcing a bearish short-term outlook.

For ETH to shift sentiment, a decisive daily close above $2,149 is needed. Such a move could open the door for a recovery toward the next major resistance near $2,500, though current conditions suggest that scenario remains uncertain.

XRP Struggles Below the $1.40 Level

XRP continues to face resistance near the previously broken lower boundary of a falling wedge pattern. After revisiting this level, the price has failed to push higher and is now trading below $1.40.

If downside pressure persists, XRP may slide toward the weekly support level at $1.30. Like Bitcoin and Ethereum, technical indicators for XRP continue to favor further weakness rather than a sustained recovery.

A shift in outlook would require XRP to reclaim and hold above the wedge boundary. If achieved, the next upside target would be the 50-day exponential moving average near $1.79.

Overall, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP remain constrained by key resistance levels, with technical signals pointing to continued caution across the crypto market.
