XRP Price Breaks $2.12 Resistance After Another ETF Launch Boosts Demand

RIPPLE XRP etfs
  • XRP jumped after new ETFs drove strong institutional demand.
  • Technical signals now show a bullish setup with room for further gains.

XRP recorded its strongest surge in weeks after two Ripple-linked ETFs went live in the U.S. This triggered a powerful wave of institutional demand. The launch of Franklin Templeton’s XRPZ and Grayscale’s GXRP on NYSE Arca marked a major shift in regulated access, and the token quickly climbed past key resistance levels as buyers stepped in aggressively.

ETF Launches Drive a Sharp Institutional Rotation

The rally began when Franklin Templeton and Grayscale opened fresh ETF products, drawing nearly $180 million into XRP even as broader crypto markets suffered significant outflows. This divergence revealed a clear rotation among professional investors seeking exposure through regulated instruments.

Franklin Templeton intensified competitive pressure by waiving fees on the first $5 billion in assets until May 2026. That move boosted early liquidity and attracted strong participation from institutional desks, which supported XRP’s rapid climb. Historically, XRP has reacted positively to regulated product launches, and this rise followed that pattern closely.

Technical Structure Turns Strongly Bullish

XRP flipped into a clearly bullish structure after breaking above the long-standing $2.12 resistance level. Meanwhile, the 227.5 million volume spike confirmed the bull flag breakout that traders had been tracking for some time.

The token continues to form higher lows at $2.02 and $2.04, reinforcing trend strength. RSI lifted from oversold levels without overheating, offering room for additional upside. XRP now tests the upper boundary of a descending channel that has capped its rallies since July. A confirmed break above this larger pattern could open a fast path toward $2.57 and possibly $2.75.

Volume profile analysis places the new value area between $2.21 and $2.25, signaling that buyers accept higher price levels and continue to build positions above previous resistance.

Price Action and What Traders Should Watch Next

XRP advanced from $2.10 to $2.25 with steady institutional buying. The surge through $2.12 occurred at 17:00 UTC as volume flooded in, lifting the token to $2.29 before slight profit-taking. Current consolidation between $2.251 and $2.267 suggests continued accumulation. Support at $2.23 held firm on the first retest, reinforcing the breakout’s strength and laying the groundwork for a move toward $2.30.

Traders now watch two critical levels:

  • A decisive close above $2.30 could open the door to $2.57–$2.80.
  • Holding $2.23 remains essential to protect the bullish structure. ETF inflows continue to act as the key driver, and sustained demand could position XRP for a full reversal of its macro downtrend.
