Teams Showcase Midpoint Progress
Pi Hackathon 2025 has officially reached its halfway point. On September 19, participating teams submitted updates highlighting their progress and sharing plans for the remaining weeks. To give the Pi Network community a closer look, a video showcase featuring some standout projects has been released.
While the showcase offers a sneak peek at ongoing work, inclusion does not affect final judging or predict winners. Its main goal is to inform and inspire the community as teams continue building innovative solutions. With the Hackathon concluding on October 15, more exciting projects are expected to emerge.

Explore, Stake, and Review Hackathon Apps
Alongside the midpoint updates, Pi Network introduced a new feature allowing Pioneers to engage with Hackathon apps directly in the Pi Browser. Users can now:
- Open the PiApps tab in the Pi Browser.
- Select Mainnet Apps under “Browse by Category.”
- Apply the filter “hackathon25” to view all submitted apps.
Pioneers can stake Pi on apps they support, helping boost app visibility within the ecosystem. However, staking does not influence the Hackathon outcome. Judges will evaluate all projects based on the official App Review Criteria.
Building Real-World Utility
The Hackathon encourages developers to leverage Pi Network’s Open Network connectivity to create apps that provide practical use cases—even for users who have never mined Pi. By exploring, reviewing, and staking apps, Pioneers help highlight projects that add real value and strengthen the Pi ecosystem.
This new staking and review feature expands the existing Ecosystem Directory Staking function, giving Pioneers a way to support emerging projects and the builders behind them. As the final three weeks of Pi Hackathon 2025 unfold, the community can expect more innovation, collaboration, and impactful apps.
